The Healthy Communities San Pablo Corridor Coalition came into existence after Captain Anthony Toribio, then the Area 1 Commander of the Oakland Police Department, asked Pastor Raymond Lankford, the Executive Director of Healthy Communities, Inc. to bring together faith leaders to help bring the San Pablo community together. Months later, what started out as a request for one group to rally in the community is now a full-fledged community service and action network.
